Trauma Informed Yoga

4 SESSION SERIES

This series is for the exhausted and overwhelmed. I welcome you to do less, while receiving more rest and more nourishment. This month I’m organizing classes a bit differently. Each class in this series follows the same structure: 30min of fluid movement, followed by 30min of grounded shapes with longer holds, and a breath practice. Take as much as you need, leave the rest.

 

Session 1: Permission To Do Less

Low back + hip flexors.

Affirmation: I give myself permission to do less.


Session 2: Move At Your Own Pace

Hamstrings + twists.

Affirmation: I give myself permission to move at my own pace.

Session 3: Hope Blooms Here

Chest, shoulders, front + back of heart space.

Contemplation: “What else helps us overcome suffering if not by giving hope a chance to bloom.”

Session 4: Rest In Hope

Hip flexors, piriformis, sciatic nerve.

Contemplation:
